Soul Sacrifice Demo Review

The Soul Sacrifice Demo for the PS Vita has been out for about 3 days and the game in general looks very promising, but is it really worth the wait? Is it what we were expecting? Well, if you have a doubt about how good is the Soul Sacrifice Demo check out this review to know more about this game.

Review

Story

The story of the game is kind of explained in the demo, I wont go into much details for the story to prevent spoilers and ruining the experience. In the game you are a sorcerer that has been captured by an evil sorcerer that makes a lot of sacrifices to improve himself. While you are captured you meet with a talking magic book that belongs to this sorcerer and you are trying to explore the information it has within it to be able to know more about this sorcerer and be able to escape. In general the story seems really deep once you get into the game, also taking into account this is jus the demo.

Gameplay

Now for the gameplay, the gameplay is really impressive. First of all you are able to create you own character which a fair amount of options. Once you are done with this you are able to continue with the story. There is a lot of variety of things to do, upgrade, weapons to choose, options to change and more things to do out of the battle, once you are getting ready to start the mission. The fighting during the fights are really good, there are many kind of weapons that have different effects that really change the way you play the game. There are long/short range weapons, casts, throwing spells, summons, transformations, sacrifices and more that make the gameplay have a lot of options to play in different modes.

Graphics

The graphics for the game are really good, even though this game if for a portable device, it has great graphics. The game has many details in general like in the environments, you character, the spells the monsters, the magic book and in more things that make the game look good. Also the cinematics are well made and the quality is good.

Multiplayer

This game has a lot to offer since the demo, the multiplayer option is available since the demo and its really good. There is a lot of variety and liberty for the multiplayer gameplay, you are also able to play with many sorcerers and do missions that need many sorcerers or you can do many things depending on what you would like to do.

PS Vita capabilities

This game uses the capabilities the PS Vita has to offer, and the use of these feel good and smooth to the gameplay. It doesn't feel forced, like to have the need to include this capabilities like if it was an obligation. These capabilities are used in cool ways that make feel the game smooth like for example, turning the pages of the magic book, interact with the book in  general, move the camera while you are exploring the place where you are being kept, cast some spells, and some other ways.

In general this game has a lot to offer, and even though it took sometime to get here it was worth it because it seems like the developers of this game really worked hard to make a great game for the PS Vita. Also taking into account all the things this game has to offer and it just the demo, this means that we can get more things in the full game.

New DBZ videogame

It's seems like a new DBZ game it's coming. There has been rumors about a new DBZ game that has been spread around with the name "Plan to conquer the world", and NamcoBandai is planning on revealing something soon. Soul Sacrifice Demo

Get your ps vita ready, because were are going to get a Soul Sacrifice Demo in the upcoming days. There has been some announcements telling that the demo for Soul Sacrifice will be released April 16 in North America and April 17 in Europe. Mario & Luigi: Dream Team

Mario and Luigi are back for more adventures and this time in the 3DS. Mario & Luigi: Dream Team is planned to be release for the 3DS around Summer 2013. This Mario and Luigi game is a new installment  to the other role playing games of this same franchise. This time Mario and Luigi are inside Luigi’s dream, causing Luigi to tough that he is the strongest hero in his dreams.

Mario & Luigi: Dream Team is similar to the previous rpg games about the adventures of Mario and Luigi, but this time with some tweaks to adapt correctly to the 3DS. One of the first aspects we can see is the change of the graphics and the environment, mixing 3D graphics with 2D graphics depending on the situation. There are parts like in the previous games, were you can control the characters in a 3D world, but this time with 3D graphics. There are other parts of the game like while inside Luigi’s dreams and while some battles that the graphics change to 2D, expanding the possibilities for puzzles and gameplay.

These new changes and tweaks help to improve the experience with 3D effect the 3DS has, also including dual screen gameplay at the same time, for example, controlling Luigi while he is sleeping and in the other screen you need to control Mario inside Luigi’s dream. Other kind of puzzles that could be included in this installment could be with the touch screen while inside Luigi’s dreams or while Mario and Luigi exploring the real world.

If Mario & Luigi: Dream Team is like the previous role playing games of Mario and Luigi previously released for the GBA and the DS, we can expect great things from this game. The role playing games of Mario and Luigi had become a great franchise that the fans like to play because of the different and fun gameplay. Hopefully this franchise still continues being successful and fun with the release of this new installment. Mario & Luigi: Dream Team can be great game if the stick with the formula of the previous games and improve it, and now even more because of the power of the 3DS.

Soul Sacrifice

For the ps vita fans out there, a new ps vita exclusive game is coming out on April 30, and this game looks very promising, many people are looking forward to it. This new game is Soul Sacrifice, the idea of the games is set to be an action rpg, including magic powers, spells, character customization, giant monster, online gameplay and some other aspects.

It seems this game has a lot of potential for a console like the ps vita, because of the fact that is portable and you can play in small periods of time in order to destroy a monster that could take a lot of time. Also taking into account that the ps vita needs more great exclusives, and hopefully this will be a great addition to the ps vita library. Soul Sacrifice can be a great ps vita game if they know how to use the ps vita capabilities correctly, like the use of the back and front touch, great graphics, tilt, and some other details that used correctly can be inovating and fun.

Many people have been waiting for this game, because it's the kind of game the ps vita needs. The ps vita needs a good action rpg game, like previous games like monster hunter or god eater. From this previous titles that were released on the previous PlayStation portable system, we can see that action rpg games have a lot of potential for portable consoles and many people look forward to those games because it gives you a sense of liberty and personal customization to your character and you can play it in parts while you are on the go.

Soul Sacrifice is almost here, in least than a month we will be getting this game and we will be able to play and experience it. For the information that has been released, some pictures and videos, we can see this game has a lot to offer. Now what we need is that the developers know how to exploit and use the ps vita capabilites correctly to make a great ps vita game many have been waiting for.

Lucasarts is closed

Lucasarts, the developers of many star wars games like battlefront, the force unleashed, the old republic, bounty hunter and much more star wars games has been now closed by Disney. Meaning that the games that were already in development were also canceled, including Star Wars: 1313 and Star Wars: First Assault. Now that Lucasarts has been closed, there has been some doubts, like, what could be the future for star wars games? Who is going to take their place? What will happend with the games that were already in development?

It seems that now the studio has become a licensing house, meaning that others can borrow the brand in order to create new games. This mean that some of the ideas mentioned earlier could be possible, since maybe other game developers could buy the license or borrow the brand to continue a game that was already in process or make a new game. Hopefully if this is true, maybe in the future we can see games like Star Wars: 1313, Star Wars: First Assault, Star Wars: Battlefront 3, games about the upcoming movies and more.

There has been some rumors that someone else could continue with the games and projects Lucasarts didn't finish. There has been also some rumors that the game Star Wars: 1313 has changed and it seems now this game will be about Boba Fett.

Even though this news have disappointed some star wars fans, there is still a chance for this to change, there is still a change that Star Wars games will continue in the future and with good quality. We need to wait to see what are the decisions taken and how would other developers respond, in order to see what could be of Lucasarts and Star Wars game in the future.

New infamous game

A new infamous game has been announced and a new trailer has been revealed. The name of this game is inFAMOUS: Second Son. This game is set to be around 7 years after the ending of infamous 2. The protagonist of this game is Delsin Rowe, he doesn't seem to have electrical powers like cole did in the first 2 games. Delsin Rowe seems to have the power to transform into smoke, control and manipulate trash,objects, throw fire balls, disintegrate others and him self and some other powers. He also seems to have a chain that he uses as weapon with the combination of his powers.

If you haven't finished inFAMOUS 2 or you are planning on playing it, you should stop reading now, because the following information could ruin you the game story. Now this has been mentioned, lets continue with this. The games is set to be seven years after the ending of inFAMOUS 2, when cole dies, because he sacrificed himself to defeat the thread he was facing. Since the previous inFAMOUS games we know that people like cole and Delsin that have the ability to control certain powers like controlling the trash, the electricity and more depending on the person, are called conductors.

There was a lot of rumors of what would the people of sucker punch be working on, because there has been announced that they were working on something, and some guest it could be a ps vita game, a movie, a console game, and it seems some rumors were right. This game has been announced to be released for the next-gen playstation, the PlayStation 4, we can see this at the end of the trailer. If this is true we can expect a next-gen inFAMOUS game in the upcoming years, once the next-gen consoles have been released.
